Enabling them to continue to offer FREE* transport to vaccination appointments.

Since the start of this year we have been offering FREE* transport (up to the value of £10 each way), in partitioned vehicles, to those without transport, who are vulnerable, need ‘door to door’ assistance and/or financial support, to get to their vaccination appointment simply and safely.

We started this initiative with an allocated ‘covid fighting fund’ of £10,000.

Since offering this FREE* service we are pleased to announce we have safely carried out over 1200 journeys (as of 7th April 2021) to and from vaccine appointments.

With the second wave of appointments being rolled out, we wanted to ensure that this service continued to be available and Arm didn’t hesitate in their support adding a generous £6,000 donation from their ‘COVID-19 Community Fund’.  

With this additional funding, we believe that any person that requires help getting to their vaccine appointment (irrespective of age or whether they are attending their 1st or 2nd appointment) will be able to do so, for FREE or at minimal cost to themselves.
